'tool belt' - statement charm necklace w/ star crystals

This statement gold-filled sterling silver choker necklace is made with a set of five die-cast brass ‘tool’-shaped pendants, from the 1960s! Aurora borealis star crystals in a gold-filled setting give this very playful look an upscale and surprisingly wearable feel. It makes a great gift for sewers and crafters, but also pairs beautifully with your little black dress!

I was so excited when I came upon these tiny vintage die-cast 'tools', and pairing them with iridescent star crystals makes it a piece of wearable art that gilds, sparkles and changes with the light!

Aurora borealis crystals have a color-shifting appearance that is a little similar to opal or moonstone -- they're milky, opalescent crystals that strike glints of lilac, pale blue, seafoam, and rose gold. This necklace has four of them -- three in the front, and one in the back, to add a little bit of sparkle to the back of your neck too.

This necklace is 16" long, resting right against the base of the neck -- an adjustable extender at the back adds an optional extra two inches for up to 18" in length (the most common necklace length, resting against the collarbone.)

The scissors pendant measures about 1 1/4" tall and is made of brass, and the star crystals measure about 3/8" tall and is made of glass and gold-filled sterling silver. Chain is 14k gold filled sterling silver, made in Italy.
